A meeting was held between the representatives of Orenburg State Medical University, Russia, and Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket on 28th May 2018 to devise strategies and future collaborations in various fields of medical education and research for the benefit of Indian students studying in Orenburg State Medical University.
The meeting was organized by Air Marshal (Dr.) PawanKapoor, AVSM, VSM, & BAR (Retd.), Vice Chairman of Rus Education.
Orenburg State Medical University was represented by Mr. Mironchiev Anton, Dean of Orenburg State Medical University, and Ms. SarychevaYulia& Ms. Julia Yudaeva, Professors of Orenburg State Medical University.
Max Super Speciality Hospital was represented by Dr. Mrs. AartiVerma, Senior Vice President, Medical Quality of Max Healthcare, and Dr. Vanita Mittal, General Manager, Academics of Max Institute of Medical Excellence.
The discussions were extremely fruitful and were primarily aimed for grant of observer-ship to Indian students studying at Orenburg State Medical University. The observer-ship is expected to be extremely beneficial to the Indian students who will get acquainted with the disease profile of Indian patients. It will give the medical students an overview of the health care delivery system prevailing in India as well as the medical technology and state of art facilities available for patient care in India.
These hands-on experiences will also help the Indian graduates of Orenburg State Medical University to be able to qualify in the MCI Screening Examination.
