Rus Education in association with Russian House in New Delhi, successfully culminated the third edition of Sobraniye 2022, on 11th October 2022. The pre-departure ceremony was organised at the premise of the Russian House in New Delhi with all its traditional grandeur.
The ceremony in its third edition witnessed several magnanimous personalities who got on the stage to motivate, guide and bless the students on their upcoming journey as medical students in top government medical universities of Russia. Some of the chief personalities of the evening were Mr Vasilii Shagap, Chief Coordinator of Russian government scholarships and events at Russian House, New Delhi, Ms Elena Barman, Head of Education Department, Air Marshal Dr Pawan Kapoor, Vice Chairman, Rus Education and Mr Syed I. Rigan, Managing Director, Rus Education.
In their address, the guests not only blessed the students for their journey but also gave away their good advice to have a pleasant stay during their MBBS in Russia. On the behalf of the Russian House, Mr Vasilii Shagap assured complete support at all times to all the students and parents. Ms Elena Barman emphasized the plight of parents and their courage to send their dear children to a foreign land. She also encouraged the students in making more friends in Russia and learn the culture and language of the country so that they can explore more. Air Marshal Dr Pawan Kapoor, extended his encouragement to the students and asked them to be meticulous as they would be the representation of India in Russia. Mr Syed I. Rigan also asked the students to enjoy and make the most of their stay while being considerate towards the sacrifices and values of their parents.
The ceremony witnessed the participation of hundreds of students and their parents who arrived at the venue from various parts of the country. This audience of the ceremony not only included the students who would be starting their journey towards their dream in Russia but also Ukraine returned Indian medical students, who would be joining the top government medical universities of Russia to resume this journey. The interactive ceremony also witnessed several parents and students asking away their doubts regarding recent policies adopted by both the countries such as Visa facilities, currency exchange and validity reforms, etc and got their rightful answers.
Several former students of Russian medical universities and their parents also joined the ceremony and guided the students and parents regarding their upcoming life.
Overall, the entire ceremony concluded on a happy note with group photographs of the students, their family members and the honorary guests sharing the stage. With the end of this ceremony, the journey of these students officially commenced towards making their dreams of becoming a doctor a reality.
Post the fulfilling and chatty dinner at the venue itself, the team of Rus Education accompanied the students to the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi and helped them successfully board their flights to Moscow. The students boarded the flights and got on the way to pursue their dream at the top government universities of Russia- Perm State Medical University, Orenburg State University and Mari State University for their medical studies.
