Russian Education Fair 2022, 2nd Editions Concludes With Success in Delhi

After the immense success in Kolkata and Patna, the Russian Education Fair 2022 (REF 2022), 2nd edition reached Delhi to meet, interact and guide the students in regards to their opportunities with MBBS in Russia. The REF 2022, 2nd Edition in Delhi was conducted on 13th September 2022, Tuesday, within the premise of the Russian House in New India.

This time, the Russian Education Fair also bought along several opportunities to guide Ukraine returned medical students of India seeking transfer towards the best opportunities in Russia. Several Top Government Medical Universities in Russia such as Perm State Medical University (PSMU), Mari State University (MarSU) and Orenburg State Medical University (OrSMU), joined the fair. 

Various delegates from these universities joined the fair to resolve all the queries and concerns of the students. The list of guests in REF 2022, 2nd Edition in Delhi included Mr Osipov Oleg, Director, Russian House in New Delhi; Prof. Shvetsov Mikhail N., Rector, MarSU and the leadership of Rus Education- Prof S.K. Washim, Chairman; Air Marshal Dr Pawan Kapoor, Vice Chairman; Mr Syed I. Rigan, Managing Director; and Ms Elena Barman, Director.

Prof. Shvetsov Mikhail N. took hold of the stage and forwarded the invitation to Ukraine returned medical students of India to join MarSU. The university is open to accommodating 5000 Ukraine returned students on its campus. In his address to the students and parents, Mr Osipov Oleg ensured them of the abundant opportunities in Russia awaiting them. Air Marshal Dr Pawan Kapoor, also extended his thanks to the legislative members of Russia for opening the doors of opportunity for the Indian students aspiring to become a doctor but are unable to do so due to either limited seats in India, or low NEET scores or unfortunate circumstances in Ukraine. 

Two recent graduates of OrSMU, Dr Arti and Dr Prerna also joined the event to share their experience from aspiring to become a doctor to actually becoming a doctor. The new doctors also assured the students that studying in Russia certainly can be a good choice provided the students have the required devotion and dedication towards their goals. 

Mr Oleg Osipov, Prof Shvestov Mikhail N. and Prof. S.K. Washim also participated in the press meeting and answered several raging questions, especially in regards to the transfer of Ukraine-returned medical students of India. 

The Rector of MarSU stated that the university is keeping up with all the troubles and concerns of the students such as in acquiring the original transcripts. The university, therefore, is accepting admissions on the basis of online transcripts or mark sheets. Presently, the university has the resource availability to accommodate the transfer of 5000 Ukraine-returned Indian medical students. 

Mr Oleg Osipov, also ensured complete support from the Embassy to assist in the transfer of these students so that do not have anything else to worry about. Prof S.K. Washim also promised that the Indian students seeking transfer from Ukraine may also get discounts and scholarships on their tuition fees, hostel fees, etc. 

The fair witnessed a massive number of aspiring medical students seeking to explore their opportunities in Russia.  Several students also availed benefits along with their on-spot admission process  such as exciting discounts, scholarship seats, personal counselling, complete admissions support, etc.

In conclusion, REF 2022 2nd Edition in Delhi achieved grand success and concluded on a high note, fair would be arriving next in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mumbai between 15th -18th September 2022.
