The briefing, held at the Russian House in New Delhi, aimed to provide key stakeholders with insights into the objectives, highlights, and anticipated outcomes of the summit.
The Indo-Russian Education Summit 2024, scheduled to take place from April 11th to 13th, marks a significant milestone in the educational collaboration between Russia and India. Organized by Rossotrudnichestvo, in collaboration with The Embassy of Russia in India, Russian House, and Rus Education, the summit aims to foster collaboration and facilitate exchanges between educational institutions of both nations.
The pre-event briefing highlighted the importance of educational partnerships in strengthening the bilateral ties between Russia and India. It also emphasized the summit’s focus on promoting academic cooperation, facilitating student exchanges, and showcasing the diverse educational opportunities available in Russia.
Key highlights of the summit were discussed, including panel discussions, round table conferences, exhibitions, and the presence of Ministers from the Russian Federation representing various sectors. The briefing also highlighted the Russian Federation’s generous offer of 500 free scholarship seats across various courses, spanning from medical sciences, engineering, nuclear science, aviation, management, aerospace, and more. Additionally, Rus Education pledges scholarships worth INR 40 lacs, further democratizing access to quality education for deserving candidates.
