As proposed, the Foreign Medical Examination Exam (FMGE) is conducted twice a year. For the year 2022, the exam has been scheduled for 4th June 2022 and 17th December 2022. Recently, the National Medical Commission (NMC) released an official notice on 1st February 2022, inviting the online applications for the Eligibility Certificate which would be required to be submitted at the time of application for FMGE 2022.

The applications for the eligibility certificate can be submitted by the candidates between 2nd February 2022 (3:00 PM onwards) to 31st March 2022 (before 11:59 PM). The students can apply for the certificate via the official website of NMC. At the time of application, they would be required to submit various documents which are listed in the information bulletin available at the official website only.
All the foreign medical graduates who wish to practice in India must qualify this FMGE exam. The FMGs appearing for the FMGE 2022 are therefore advised to carefully complete the process and apply for the eligibility certificate. The students must have all their paperworks ready and at hand at the time of registration for FMGE June 2022.
