The last date to apply for NEET exam was extended from March 9, 2018, to March 12, 2018. All the aspiring students, who wish to apply for MBBS courses in India as well as abroad fill out the NEET 2018 application form. From this year, the Medical Council of India (MCI) has made NEET Examination mandatory for the students who wish to study MBBS in abroad.
Now, all the candidates who have applied for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG 2018 will be able to take the ‘One Time Correction Opportunity’ to make corrections in the data entered in their application forms. The Correction Process will begin on 15th March 2018. Aspiring students who want to recheck their form to avoid any mistakes can immediately apply for it.
The students who have successfully applied for CBSE NEET 2018 will be able to correct the following fields of the application form:
- Identification Identity
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- State code of eligibility
- Category
- Disability Status
- Medium
- Examination Center
- Qualifying examination code and percentage scored in class 12th
- Father’s Name and Mother’s Name
Only the applicants who have submitted ID Proof other than Aadhar Card will be able to change their Identification Identity, Date of Birth, and Gender. They are allowed to update their Aadhar numbers.
Applicants from Assam, Meghalaya, Jammu, and Kashmir will be able to update their State code of eligibility. Only the students from Jammu and Kashmir have the chance to change their Self Declaration status.
All applicants are allowed to update their Category or Disability Status, but it might increase the fee slot if that puts the candidate in the higher application slot. Also, the applicants will be able to change their Medium. But, if they change their language to regional language, this might change the Examination Centre too. All the aspiring candidates are allowed to change their Examination Centre, Qualifying Examination Code, and percentage scored in Class 12th and Father’s name and Mother’s name.
