On June 19, 2024, following a series of speculations and in continuation of June 07, 2024, Public Notice, the Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) released another Public Notice announcing that the Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) who have completed their MBBS course offline/physical classes abroad, equivalent to that of MBBS in India, are eligible for a one-year internship as per the Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) Regulations 2021.
The NMC further clarified that the conditions stated in the Public Notice dated December 7, 2023, remain unchanged for FMGs.
This notice applies to all Indian Students who have graduated from any country worldwide with a course equivalent to MBBS in India.
