The National Medical Commission on March 04, 2024, issued a public notice regarding the online application of Eligibility Certificate for Foreign Medical Students. As per the NMC, Indian medical students studying medicine in foreign countries must obtain an Eligibility Certificate to apply for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) Screening Test that will be held in June 2024.
To obtain an Eligibility Certificate, candidates must apply for the same from March 05, 2024, to April 30, 2024, through the https://www.nmc.org.in/ActivitiWebClient/open/studentRaise

Incomplete applications will not be processed and shall be summarily rejected.Thereafter the portal for applying the application shall be closed. |
Additionally, the NMC has also issued an Advisory for Foreign Medical students/Graduates who are required to have the eligibility certificate. The following are the suggested measures provided by the NMC:
- In order to avoid mistakes at the time of application, candidates are advised to fill out the form personally.
- Ensure all documents are kept handy before filling out the application form for the Eligibility Certificate.
- Ensure that the phone number and email ID provided at the time of application remain active and valid. This ensures timely communication from the NMC regarding any necessary corrections on the application form, facilitating smooth document processing.
- Candidates must ensure all details are duly filled and correct before submitting the form.
