The National Medical Commission has issued a public notice for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) to apply for the Eligibility Certificate. As per the NMC, Indian medical students who are studying Medicine abroad must obtain the Eligibility Certificate to apply for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) screening test which is going to be held tentatively in the month of December 2024 by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.
FMGs who are yet to obtain the Eligibility Certificate from the NMC are requested to apply through the NMC’s website.

Please note that this application might be the last chance to apply for the Eligibility Certificate. Therefore, Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the details for the application to obtain the Eligibility Certificate, and ensure that all requisite entries and documents are dutifully filled before submitting the application.
In case candidates wish to enquire about the status of the Eligibility Certificate application, candidates can do so by sending their requirements to: eligibility.regn@nmc.org.in & eligibility@nmc.org.in, providing their File Tracking Number, which was generated while
submitting the application to NMC for issuance of Eligibility Certificate. Failing which, no response would be sent to the candidate.
NB: Candidates who have already applied for the issuance of the Eligibility Certificate, need not apply again.
