India is short of nearly 500,000 doctors, based on the World Health Organization (WHO) norm of 1:1,000 population. At present, India has one doctor for every 1,681 people, according to MCI statistics.
Keeping in view the demand for Doctors in India, Students pursuing MBBS Degree in Abroad will get permission to practice in India without appearing in MCI Screening Examination.
