The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the date of its term 2 exams 2022. CBSE Term-2 Board Exams will commence from April 26, 2022 onwards. A detailed CBSE Class 12th date sheet for 2022 term 2 is expected to be published in March 2022.
The practical exams are being administered from March 2, 2022 given the latest notice published by CBSE on its official website. The notice further states that the “Last date would be 10 days before the date of the last examination of respective classes. No extension of the dates shall be considered by the Board.”
Amidst these latest updates the CBSE Class 10 and 12 students are waiting for a long time for their term 1 results for which the exams were conducted in Dec 2021. Though there is no official update from the term-1 board on the classes 10, 12 results announcement, an official released the statements that the term 1 result is expected to be announced this month.
“The board is working to announce the term 1 result in March, but there are views to announce the term 1 result jointly with term 2. An official announcement on term 1 results will be soon,” the statement recorded.

CBSE Class 12th Term 2 board exams are scheduled for March-April 2022. With the duration of two hours, the question paper will have case-based/situation-based, open-ended- short answer/ long answer type questions. In addition, the board may conduct a 90 minutes long MCQ-based exam.

To download the CBSE 12 date sheet for term 1, students may follow the steps below:
Step 1 – Go to the official website,cbse.gov.in.
Step 2 – Click the link that reads CBSE 12th date sheet 2022’ PDF Download’.
Step 3 – A pdf page of the date sheet of CBSE 12th will appear on the screen.
Step 4 – Download the file and save the date sheet for reference.
Step 5 – Take a printout of the CBSE 12 date sheet 2022.
Please note that the CBSE Class 12 date sheet for 2022 has not yet been released.

CBSE Class 12 Term-2: Exam Pattern
As per the latest CBSE announcement, students will take the exams at allotted exam centers as in the CBSE term 1 exam. The CBSE term 2 exam will be conducted in offline mode for Classes 10 and 12. Addressing the media, the CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said, “The board after discussion with various stakeholders and taking into consideration the COVID-19 situation in the country has decided to conduct second-term board exams in offline mode only.”
The CBSE has bifurcated the curriculum into two terms this academic year. The CBSE term 1 exam for both class 10 and 12 was held from November to December 2021, and multiple-choice questions (MCQs) were used. CBSE term 2 will, however, have more subjective questions.
Students will have the option of choice of case-based and situation-based questions, or open-ended-short answer and long answer types, which would be required to answer within the duration of 2 hours.
