We at Rus Education, believe that students should be well informed before taking their final examinations which will eventually help them to decide the course of their professional life. We understand that such last-minute instructions can unsettle a lot of young minds and hamper their performance on such an important day. After major scrutiny and discussion at multiple levels, the authorities are introducing essential requirements for candidates appearing in NEET – 2018.
This disciplinarian rule has been introduced in the system, to ascertain the quality of students who will eventually become doctors and safeguard the health of our citizens. Hereby, we have taken the entire section from the Information Booklet issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education; without any changes. This shall also serve as an eyeopener and a reinforcement of already available facts and brought out in various newspapers from time to time.

DRESS CODE FOR NEET 2018

All candidates must follow the under-mentioned dress code strictly to prevent themselves from facing any embarrassment, delay/ denial in the entry for NEET 2018 Examination

LIST OF ITEMS THAT MUST BE CARRIED IN THE EXAMINATION HALL
The list of items that MUST be carried out without fail in the NEET Examination Centre is mentioned below. The candidates must ensure a day before the examination that all these items are readily available to be carried to the examination hall to prevent last moment stresses and strain that can affect the examination results:-
- NEET 2018 ADMIT CARD with a passport size photograph affixed
- Original Photo Identity Card eg ADHAR Card, PAN Card, Voters ID, Driving License etc.
- One Passport size photograph (Size 4×6 with white background) to affix on Performa. The photograph must bear the name of the candidate along with the date on which the photograph was taken. It should be similar to the one submitted with the NEET application form.
NEET INSTRUCTIONS 2018 THAT MUST BE FOLLOWED IN THE EXAMINATION HALL (Refers to Chapter 5 para 1 page 13 of Information Booklet NEET (UG) -2018)
The important instructions of NEET 2018 that need to be followed by all the candidates in the examination hall as per the NEET guidelines issued by CBSE are reproduced as under:-
- The Examination Centre will be opened 2 hours and 30 minutes before the commencement of the test. No candidate shall be allowed to enter in the examination centre after 09.30 a.m. A candidate who comes after 09.30 am shall not be permitted to enter in the examination centre under any circumstances. Therefore, kindly ensure that candidates must leave home well in advance considering all facts like traffic, location of the centre and weather conditions, etc. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall.
- A seat with a roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates must find out and occupy their allotted seats. If a candidate is found appearing in the Test from a seat or room other than the allotted one to him/her, his/her candidature shall be cancelled.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry any material except the Admit Card and photograph inside the Examination Hall.
- The candidate must show, on demand, the Admit Card for admission in the Examination Hall. A candidate who does not possess the valid Admit Card shall not be admitted to the Examination Hall under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent.
- During the examination time, the invigilator will check Admit Card of the candidates to satisfy himself/herself about the identity of each candidate. The invigilator will also put his/her signatures in the place provided in the Answer Sheet on SIDE-1.
- Candidates are not allowed to bring any barred item or any item which could be used in unfair means. Possession of any such article with the candidates inside the centre premises will attract the penalties of unfair practices.
- Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the barred items (Chapter-11) to the venue of the examination as arrangement for safe keeping will not be made and candidates found in possession of these items will not be allowed entry in the examination centre.
- The Test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Admit Card and an announcement to this effect will be made by the invigilator.
- Before the start of test, some important instructions will be communicated to the candidates by the invigilator for strict compliance by the candidates.
- The candidate will check and ensure that the Test-Booklet contain as many number of pages as are written on the top of the cover page.
- A signal will be given at the beginning of the examination and at half-time. A signal will also be given before the closing time when the candidate must stop marking the responses.
- No candidate will leave his/her seat or the Examination Room/Hall until the Test concludes as per schedule. Candidates should not leave the Room/Hall without handing over their Answer Sheets to the invigilator on duty.
- The candidate must sign twice on the Attendance Sheet at the specified place, first time immediately after the commencement of examination and second time while handing over the Answer Sheet to the invigilator. The candidates are also required to put their Finger Impressions in the space provided on the Attendance Sheet.
- For those who are unable to appear on the scheduled date of test for any reason, re-test shall not be held by the Board under any circumstances.
- Smoking in the examination centre is strictly prohibited.
NEET INSTRUCTIONS 2018 WITH REGARD TO THE TEST BOOKLET

The following instructions with regard to the Test Booklet of NEET are being reproduced once again and the candidates must go through them very meticulously to prevent any problems from arising during the examination:-
- Fifteen minutes before the commencement of the test, candidates will be given a sealed Test Booklet.
- Immediately on receipt of the Test Booklet, the candidates will fill in the required particulars on the cover page of the Test Booklet with Ball Point Pen provided at the Centre. Candidates will not open the Test Booklet until asked to do so by the invigilator.
- Five minutes before the commencement of the Test, the candidates will be instructed to break/open the seal of the Test Booklet and take out the Answer Sheet carefully. The Candidate should check carefully that the Test Booklet Code printed on Side-2 of the Answer Sheet is the same as printed on Test Booklet. In case of discrepancy, the candidate should immediately report the matter to the invigilator for replacement of both the Test Booklet and the Answer Sheet.
- Candidate will then write particulars with ball point pen on both the sides. After completing this step, the candidate will wait for the signal by the Invigilator to start the test.
- After completing the Test and before handing over the Answer Sheet, the candidate should check again that all the particulars required in the Answer Sheet have been correctly written and marked.
- Candidates should ensure before leaving the Examination Hall that they have handed over the Answer Sheet to the invigilators on duty and that they have signed on the Attendance Sheet second time also.
