New Delhi: Sobraniye 2018 which is an annual get-together of all enrolled students along with their parents before the students depart to Russia for their Medical Education, is being held at Siri Fort Auditorium on 18th September 2018. This get-together is being jointly organized by Rus Education and the Russian Centre of Science and Culture. The event is a Pre-Departure Orientation for students going to Russia to study MBBS wherein all of them are able to meet each other and students and parents can interact with each other so that any anxieties and apprehensions are removed.
The Chief Guest of the function will be General V. K. Singh (Honorable Minister of State- Ministry of External Affairs) who will grace the students and give them valuable guidance and suggestions that will stand them in good stead while pursuing their medical education from various Top Universities of Russia. H.E. Mr. Nikolay Rishatovich Kudashev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India will also grace the occasion as a Guest of honor. He shall brief the audience about Indo-Russian long-standing relationships and the academic environment and facilities that the students are expected to receive while in Russia.
Dr.Reena Nayyar, Secretary Medical Council of India will be the Special Guest at the function and she shall apprise the gathering about various eligibility conditions and MCI Screening Examination (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination). The students will be also briefed on the career opportunities in Russia.
During the function, the Guests will distribute various awards and scholarships to meritorious and financially challenged students as well.
