For the students who have completed their MBBS in Abroad and wish to study or practice medicine in India, it is mandatory to appear and qualify Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE). Candidates must be in the possession of a primary medical qualification as confirmed by the Indian Embassy for a recognized qualification for enrollment. The National Board of Education has already announced the important dates for all its administered examinations.
Important dates and details to be noted by the candidates who wish to appear for the FMGE June 2021 Exams:

For the year 2021, the registration for the FMGE Exam scheduled on 18th June 2021, starts from today, i.e, 16th April 2021 at 3:00 PM onwards till 6th May 2021, 11:55 PM. The required set of documents the students must prepare while registering for the FMGE 2021 Examination are:
- Passport-size Photograph
- Signature
- Left and Right Thumb Impression
- Proof of possessing Primary Medical Qualification
- Eligibility Certificate/Admission Letter
- Identity Proof of Citizenship.
All the candidates appearing must have qualified for the final examination for their Primary Medical Qualification i.e. MBBS or Equivalent degree on/ before 30th April 2021. Also, the foreign medical degrees should be attested either by the Embassy of India or should be Apostilled by the appropriate authority of the foreign country concerned. Kindly note that the apostille/attestation is to be in accordance with the requirements of the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 abolishing the requirement of legalization for Foreign Public Document (Apostille Convention).
As per the notice issued by the National Board of Examinations on 15-04-2021, the FMGE Exam for 2021 would be Computer Based Platform at various test centers across the country. The notice also advises the students to visit the official website for further details like eligibility criteria, fee structure, course curriculum, scheme of examination, and other details.
