A new update has been published by the National Board of Examination in reference to the Foreign Medical Examination (FMGE) 2021.
It was earlier notified by the board that the FMGE 2021 would be administered on 18th June 2021, on a computer-based platform at various test centers across the country. The board recently published a new notice announcing the details for the correction of submitted documents for FMGE.
As the applications were invited a few weeks back for the same, the foreign medical graduates (FMGs ) were required to submit the following documents to be eligible for the exam.
- Primary Medical Qualification Degree/ Provisional passing certified from the recognised university of abroad duly apostilled/attested by the Embassy of India in the country from where the degree has been obtained.
- Eligibility certificate issued by the NMC/MCI (if applicable)
- Proof of Indian citizenship
If the students had been unable to upload these documents at the time of application, the board shall communicate the same through an Online Deficient Document Submission Portal. The applicants can access the portal by using the link: http://exam.natboard.edu.in/fmge.php .
The students are required to access the portal and check the status of the submitted documents and if required submit them as per the provided criteria. The application form is open for rectification till 6th June 2021.
In order to appear for the exam, the applicant must ensure their eligibility and support them with valid proof. The candidates will be allowed to appear in the FMGE only if, they are in the possession of an eligibility certificate (if applicable) as well as the provisional passing certificate/degree certificate of the primary medical qualification.
The notice further states that in the absence of the mandatory documents or unrectified documents for the applications by the last date prescribed would be declared ineligible. The admit cards would not be issued by the board for the applicants declared as ineligible before the conduct of the examination.
