The National Board of Examination (NBE) has announced the date for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination 2019 December session i.e. December 20, 2019. Foreign Medical Graduate Examination is usually known as FMGE. This exam is a licensing examination for Indian and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have completed their MBBS from abroad and are looking ahead of practicing their medical career in India.
The National Board of Examination is the regulatory body responsible for conducting this examination. NBE has released the information brochure for FMGE 2019. The result of FMGE 2019 December session will be declared on January 20, 2020, on the official website of NBE.
As per the eligibility criteria, it’s mandatory for medical graduates to have a primary medical qualification confirmed by the Indian Embassy of the particular country. All the eligible candidates can fill FMGE 2019 application form by October 30, 2019. The application form for the FMGE 2019 December session was released on October 11, 2019.
The admit card for FMGE 2019 December session will be available from December 13, 2019. All the candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of NBE.
Another important update about FMGE 2019 December Session, from December 1, 2019, NBE will open the facility of practice test for all the candidates to get a better understanding of how the actual exam will be.
This year the December session of FMGE 2019 will be conducted in a total of 26 cities across the country.
About FMGE
FMGE is conducted, twice a year, in June and December for all Foreign Medical Graduates so that they can get a provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India to practice their medical career in the country.

Eligibility Criteria for FMGE 2019
Mentioned below are some important points, which are mandatory for a Foreign Medical Graduate in order to appear for FMGE 2019 December Session-
- The candidate should be an Indian citizen or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India)
- All the foreign medical graduates must have primary medical qualification confirmed by the concerned Indian Embassy
- Its mandatory for candidates to provide all the required documents in support of them having qualified the final examination.
- All the candidates are supposed to submit all the mandatory documents latest by November 31, 2019.
