The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the conduct of Class 10 & 12 board exams from Feb 15 onwards. However, the detailed schedule is still awaited.

CBSE will soon release date sheets for Class 10 and Class 12 final theory exams that are scheduled to begin in mid-February. Once released, the date-sheet would be available at cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.

The board has confirmed that practical exams for both the grades will be beginning from January 1, except for winter-bound areas where these exams are already going on.

Meanwhile, a CBSE official has warned that fake date sheets for 2023 final exams are doing rounds on social media platforms. Students must only trust board-exam related information published on the official website of CBSE.

Centre’s Press Information Bureau (PIB) has also  issued a fraud alert regarding a website, allegedly demanding registration fee from CBSE board exam 2023 candidates.

The website, cbsegovt.com, is fake and not associated with the central education board, it said.

The official website of CBSE is cbse.gov.in, which students should visit for authentic information regarding board exams, including date sheet and admit card.

In a separate tweet, PIB informed that a purported date sheet for the upcoming CBSE board examinations (2023) circulating on social media is also fake.
