The National Testing Agency has rolled out the registration forms for NEET-UG 2020.
The forms were released on Monday, December 2, 2019, around 4 PM on the official NTA website – www.ntaneet.nic.in. The NTA has also released the Information Bulletin with all relevant guidelines in 7 different languages with can also be accessed from the official website or by clicking on the links mentioned at the bottom.
Please note the registration window will close on December 31, 2019, following which new applications will not be accepted.
The National Testing Agency has introduced changes to the registration process in a bid to improve the scanning process of applicants to reduce cases of identity thefts and impersonations. Some of the changes include a mandatory submission of Class X Board Roll Numbers and mark sheet, and a provision to upload a LIVE image in case the applicant’s submitted image raises flags.
Admission to INI’s like AIIMS and JIPMER too in 2020 will be done based on the NEET scores, as per the clauses of the newly introduced National Medical Commission. Starting in 2020, NEET will be the only examination for entry to medical and BDS courses in India.
