On June 5, 2019, NTA (National Testing Agency) announced the most awaited result- NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) – UG 2019.
This year a total of 15, 19,375 students registered for NEET-UG 2019, out of which 14, 10,755 appeared for the exam held on 5th May 2019 (Sunday) at 2546 exam centers across the country except for Odisha. Out of 14, 10,755 candidates, 780467 were female candidates and 630283 were male candidates, and 6 were transgender. As per the NEET-UG 2019 result analysis, there has been an increase of 14.52% of candidates who appeared for NEET 2019 as compared to last year.
As per NEET-UG 2019 result analysis, 14, 10,755 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 7, 97,042 students qualified for the exam (4, 45,761 girls and 3, 51,278 boys).

This year there has been a 14.52% increase in the number of candidates registered for NEET- UG 2019. The total number of candidates registered this year was 15, 19,375 whereas in 2018 the total number of candidates registered was 13, 26,725.
Important information for medical aspirants who are planning to study MBBS in Abroad!
As per the guidelines issued by MCI (Medical Council of India) from 2019 onwards, Indian Medical aspirants who are planning to study MBBS in Abroad need to clear NEET-UG 2019 with qualifying marks in order to seek admission in any Government or Private Medical Universities Abroad.

If we compare NEET-UG 2019 result with that of NEET-UG 2018 result, Rajasthan was the top-performing state, with 74.30 percent of candidates qualifying for the exam, followed by Delhi with 73.37 percent candidates cleared the exam.

Nalin Khandelwal from Rajasthan bags NEET AIR 1 ranks by attaining 701 out of the total 720 marks. He outperformed over 15, 19,375 lakh candidates who appeared in NEET-UG 2019 conducted by NTA on May 5, 2019. Bhavik Bansal secured NEET AIR 2 rank with a total score of 700 marks followed by Akshat Kaushik who secured NEET AIR 3 rank with the same 700 marks.
As declared by NTA, there has 12.90 percent increase in the number of centers and 16.67 percent in the number of cities where NEET-UG 2019 was conducted as NEET-UG 2018.
NEET- UG 2019 result is the way to seek admission in nearly 95000 MBBS and BDS seats offered by Government and Private Medical and Dental colleges across India excluding AIIMS and JIPMER as these two institutions are not in NEET-UG ambit.
