Fueled by the inspiration she found in the doctors she admired and popular medical dramas like The Good Doctor and Grey’s Anatomy, Ishani decided to step into the demanding field of Surgery.

Despite only arriving in Mari El in October 2024, Ishani has already immersed herself in her new environment. It’s just 5 months, she has:
- Started learning the Russian language
- Participated in the university’s cultural festivals and events
- Performed “Katyusha”, a beloved Russian song, showcasing her love and respect for the Russian culture and traditions.
