NTA Released the Online Application Form for NEET (UG) – 2025

On February 07th, 2024, the National Testing Agency issued a public notice announcing the application window opening for NEET (UG) – 2025 registration. Students who wish to appear for NEET(UG) 2025 can apply for the exam online at the NTA official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/, from February 07th and the last date will be on March 07th, 2025 (up to 11:50 PM).

According to Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, the NEET (UG) serves as the common and uniform entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical education programs across all medical institutions. The NEET(UG) 2025 scores and met list is also applicable for admissions to BDS and BVSc & AH courses, following the respective regulations set by the concerned governing bodies.

Likewise,  according to the section 14 of the National Medical Commission (NMC), for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, NEET (UG) is mandatory for admissions in other disciplines i.e. BAMS, BUMS, BSMS and BHMS(As per guidelines of the National Commission for Homeopathy) courses in all medical institutions. Additionally, MNS (Military Nursing Service) aspirants seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the year 2025 are required to qualify NEET (UG).

NEET (UG) – 2025: Exam Pattern

The NEET (UG) – 2025 Entrance Test will now comprise of 180 multiple-choice questions, with four options, covering 45 each in Physics and Chemistry and 90 in Biology(Botany & Zoology).

The exam will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The duration will be 180 minutes (3 hours), from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST).

How to Apply for NEET (UG) – 2025?

Follow the steps given below or you can go through the information bulletin before applying online:

Step 1: Candidates can go through the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/ to apply online.

Step 2: Register or login for the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application Number once you have registered.

Step 3: Fill in the required details in the application form and upload all the required documents.

Step 4: After completing Steps 1, 2, and 3, the candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee online. 

Step 5: Submit the application form.
