As part of its commitment to advancing medical education, Orenburg State Medical University hosted the Federal Olympiad in radiology diagnostics, the I-See Radathon, on February 10, 2024. The Olympiad was held for foreign students studying MBBS in Russia or equivalent courses. The esteemed jury included experts in radiation diagnostics, anatomy, and therapy, alongside specialists from India.
All displayed exceptional knowledge. Prof. Shekhtman Alexander Gennadievich – Head of the Department of Radiology and Radiation Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences; Prof. Mironchev Anton Olegovich – Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Students, Ph.D.; Prof. Lyashchenko Diana Nailevna – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Head of the Department of Human Anatomy, Doctor of Medical Sciences; Prof. Malygina Olga Yakovlevna – Associate Professor of the Department of Radiology and Radiation Medicine, Candidate of Medical Sciences, doctor of the highest qualification category, radiologist of the X-ray department of the State Autonomous Institution of Health Organization OOKOD; Safronova Yulia Valerievna – candidate of medical sciences, doctor of the highest qualification category, radiologist of the X-ray department of GAUZ OOKOD; And also experts from India including Dr. Khaleel – MD Radiology, director of ARISE Medical Academy; and Dr. Priyansh Jain – MD Therapy, ARISE Medical Academy.
At the Olympiad, all participants showcased their exceptional talents and subject knowledge, with several teams proudly celebrating their victories.
1st place – team of Orenburg State Medical University Scan Squad of OrSMU (Shubham Pothanapalli, Saumyajyoti Mukherjee, K-Prazwala Rani, Bedika Baruah, Anjali Rithal)
2nd place – team of Perm State Medical University RadPerm (Sneha Gaokar, Sidhart Raj, Aditya Saini, Piyush Barwal, Harshit Sharma)
3rd place – the team of the Mari State University MarSU Diagnose Team, who also received a prize for the best video (Divyansh Kumar, Kamel Diab, Aryan Singh, Manish Landage)
