On September 29th, 2023, Russian House New Delhi, partnered with Rus Education, a leading provider of medical education in India, jointly hosted a pivotal Round Table Conference as part of the Russian Education Fair 2023, September Edition, dedicated to strengthening educational ties between India and Russia. The conference served as a platform for key stakeholders from academia, government, and industry to converge with the shared goal of exploring avenues for enhanced cooperation in the field of education.
A distinguished panel, featuring representatives from prominent Indian and Russian universities, delved into Academic Partnerships, Student Exchange Programs, Research and Innovation, Cultural Integration, and Economic Engagement. Renowned Russian Government medical universities Orenburg State Medical University, Tula State University, St. Petersburg University, Southern Federal University, Russian University of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov, St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Sevastopol State University, Mari State University, Perm State Medical University, Baikal State University, and Pskov State University. Simultaneously, from the Indian diaspora, leading medical colleges and institutes such as Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Northcap University, Gurugram, Jawaharlal Nehru University, SGT University, Sharda University, Al Falah University Dhoud, Jamia Islamia University, and IIT Delhi participated with great enthusiasm. The conference’s success marked a significant milestone in enhancing educational ties between India and Russia.
