On June 13th, 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA), has released the results for NEET(UG) 2023, for the exam which was conducted on May 07, 2023, in 13 different languages across 499 cities in the country including the 14 Cities outside India.
The NEET(UG) 2023 witnessed over 20 Lakh students appearing in 4097 Centers across the country. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their scores and also download their results from the NTA official website – https://neet.nta.nic.in/. Additionally, candidates can access their results through various other platforms. It is recommended that candidates stay updated with the latest information provided by the NTA and official websites such as the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoH&FW), AYUSH Ministry, DGHS, Medical Counselling Committee, Admission Central Counselling Committee of the Ministry of AYUSH, and other relevant authorities of participating states, universities, and institutions. It is important to stay informed until the final round of counseling concludes.
It is compulsory for candidates who wish to study medicine in India or abroad to clear NEET. In order to qualify NEET(UG) – 2023, the General category students should score at least the 50th percentile, General-PwD category students should score 45 percentile and SC/ ST/ OBC category should at least score 40th percentile.
How to check and download NEET(UG) – 2023 results?
- Visit the NTA official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/
- Click on the link, “NEET (UG) 2023 Score Card” (any server)
- Enter all the required details for login – Application number, DOB, and security pin.
- Click on submit
- Your result will be displayed on the screen
- Download NEET (UG) – 2023, and take a printout for future reference.
The National and State-level Counselling will soon begin for admissions to the All India Quota (AIQ) seats in India. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India will conduct the counselling for the same. The details and schedule of NEET(UG) counselling will be available on the websites of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Directorates of States. Candidates who are eligible for the counselling, may register themselves accordingly.
