Perm State Medical University, one of the top government medical universities in Russia, has signed cooperation agreements with several institutions in India on May 17th, 2023. The objective of this visit was to promote Perm State Medical University to Indian students who are interested in studying medicine in Russia.
The delegation from Perm State Medical University, led by Prof. Blagonravova Anna Sergeevna, the Rector of PSMU, and Ms. Bocharova Anna Mikhailovna, the Pro-Rector of PSMU, had a meeting with Mr. Osipov Oleg, the Director of Russian House, New Delhi, in the Seminar Hall of Russian House. He was also accompanied by Ms. Elena Barman, Head of the Education Department from Russian House, New Delhi. During the meeting, Perm State Medical University and Russian House, New Delhi, signed a cooperation agreement to promote Russian education and ensure that Indian students have a platform to excel in their medical careers in Russia.
Additionally, the Russian envoy also signed an agreement of collaboration with Arise Academy, India, on the same day. The purpose of this agreement is to provide coaching and training to FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduates Examination) aspirants in India. This collaboration aims to assist these students in preparing for the licensing examination in the country.
These agreements signify a strong partnership between Perm State Medical University and various institutions in India, enhancing educational opportunities for Indian students interested in pursuing medical studies in Russia.
The distinguished event garnered significant attention from the team of Rus Education, with the esteemed Chairman, Prof. S.K. Washim, the Vice Chairman, Air Marshal Dr. Pawan Kapoor, the Director, Dr. Dinesh Singla, and other senior members of Rus Education in attendance. Their presence highlighted the importance and significance of the occasion, emphasizing the commitment and support of Rus Education towards fostering collaborative partnerships and promoting educational excellence.
