Rus Education Successfully Organised Sobraniye 2022, 2nd Edition

Following its tradition, Rus Education in collaboration with Russian House in New Delhi, organised the grand pre-departure ceremony, Sobraniye 2022 in its second edition on 27th September 2022, at Kamani Auditorium, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi. 

The ceremony was a memorable affair for several hundreds of students and parents who joined to seek the guidance and blessing for their upcoming journey. These students are ready to embark on their new journey to study MBBS in top medical universities of Russia- Perm State Medical University, Orenburg State Medical University and Mari State University.

To bless the students on their new journey with a new role and goal, Lt Gen Daljit Singh, VSM, Director General Medical Services (Indian Army) & Sr Col Commandant, joined the ceremony as the chief guest of the evening. He was accompanied on the stage with several magnetic personalities including Mr Oleg Osipov, Director, Russian House in New Delhi; Shri Nirmal Kumar Bhagat, Director, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare; Dr Vinitaa Jha Executive Vice President, Medical Education & Research, Dr. Vanita Mittal, General Manager, Academics from Max Healthcare; Nikita Zhvachkin, Head of the Corporate and Financial Institutions Department, Sberbank India, Ms Elena Barman, Head of Education, Air Marshal Dr Pawan Kapoor (Retd.), Vice Chairman and Mr Syed I. Rigan, Managing Director from Rus Education.

Lt Gen Daljit Singh during his keynote address not only expressed his happiness of witnessing the massive gathering of the students and applauded their determination towards their dream of becoming a doctor to be in the service of the nation. He reminded the importance of discipline in the student life, especially when they would be representing the culture of India in the foreign land.

Mr Oleg Osipov, Director, Russian House in New Delhi, also once again assured his complete support from the Russian House in Delhi, throughout their duration of stay in Russia.

The guests also assured the parents of their decision to send their beloved children off to another country and urged the students to respect their parents’ sacrifice to help them succeed in their dream of becoming a doctor.

The ceremony was also attended by  several former Ukraine returned students who have joined Russia to complete their medical studies. 

The ceremony started with the lamp-lightning ceremony followed by the address from all the dignitaries. The glittery evening welcomed a massive gathering of the enthusiastic students and hopeful parents. The guests forwarded their address and advice to the students and parents that could come into hand in the coming years. 

During the event, students were presented with the ‘Druzhba Scholarship’ in honour of Alexander Kadakin, ex-Ambassador of Russia in India and the ‘Badhte Kadam Scholarship’ in honour of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India & Vir Jawaan Scholarship for their remarkable performances in academics. 

The event concluded with group photographs of the students, their family members and the honorary guests sharing the stage. After the ceremony was concluded, the students and parents joined the Dinner. Later, the students got into the reserved buses & accompanied by the representatives of Rus Education taking them to the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi to board their flights.
