In a recent series of events, a set of petitioners have filed a suit in regards to the conduct of NEET PG 2022 in the honourable court. The Supreme Court has been hearing a plea regarding application deadline of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG 2022) exam and completion of internship.

The bench of justices DY Chandrachud and Surya Kant had earlier heard the matter on February 4 and listed the matter for further hearing on Tuesday, February 8. Meanwhile, as per the recent notice issued by NBE on 4th February 2022, the NEET PG exam date was earlier deferred by six to eight weeks, and it will now be held on May 21.

The NBE has also revised the dates for the submission of applications for the exam from February 4 to March 25. The new date for the NEET PG 2022 is scheduled to be 21st May 2022.Revised Important Dates For NEET PG 2022

The petitioners have pointed out that NEET PG 2022 Exam delay of 8 weeks is also not sufficient. Hence, they have sought resolution regarding the gap in the internship completion and the examination dates. The court is expected to hear the issue on 8th February 2022 at 2:00 PM.
