In the latest news, National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the date of the phase-2 Registration for the NEET UG 2021 to 13th October 2021 from 10th October 2021.
The NEET-UG 2021 was finally conducted on the 12th of September, 2021 after several delays this year. For this year, the NTA to simply the application process for the students and to reduce the chances of errors in filling in the details during the registration for the exam had introduced the two-step application process.
The part-1 included the regular details like personal details, academic details, uploading of documents, etc, which were required to be filled before the exam. The second set of details were required to be filled up after the exam and before the result declaration. It requires the students to fill up the details like their social categories, academic details and records, Board exam details, financial details of the family, etc. The students do not need to upload any document, which they have uploaded during the phase 1 registration again for phase 2.
However, the students can correct the details like gender, nationality, e-mail address, category, sub-category, fields of the second phase as well as that of the first phase before the final date, that is, now announced to be 13th October 2021.
The NTA issued a notice on 10th October 2021 stating and emphasising, “The Candidates are strongly advised to check, cross-check, and verify their registered e-mail address and ensure that it is their own e-mail address only as NTA will be sending the scanned copy of the OMR Answer Sheet and Scorecard to the registered e-mail address.”
Many are expecting NTA to release the answer key for the NEET Exam today, itself, however, no official information regarding the same has yet been published on the official site.
