NEET PG Exam 2021, earlier scheduled for January was postponed to April and finally is announced to be conducted on 11th September 2021. The exam was earlier postponed by 4 months by the PMO considering the sudden covid crisis faced by the country.
Yesterday, the Union Minister for Health and Welfare, Government of India, Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya took on his twitter handle to inform the students about the new dates and deets regarding the NEET PG Exam 2021.
Soon after the twitter announcement, National Board of Examination (NBE) responsible for administering the NEET PG 2021 exam issued an official notice stating that, “As per the announcement today by the Hon. Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India, the NEET-PG 2021 has been rescheduled to be held on 11th September 2021. The examination shall be conducted in the morning session, from 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM.”
The issued admit cards for the previous dates are cancelled and would be recognised as ‘null and void’. The board has said it will issue new admit cards for a total of 175063 applications. The exam is proposed to be conducted in more than 260 cities at around 800 test centres across the country.
The NEET-PG 2021 is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission to various MD/MS/PG Diploma courses for the academic year 2021. The examination saw almost 2 lakh registrations this year.
